We chose Spanish Goats due to their hardiness, parasite resistance, heat tolerance and moderate size. These are “brush goats” and therefore utilize resources we already have in abundance making them a low input animal.
Addison Ranch Goats
We strategically rotate our goats to fresh pasture every few days and therefore don’t find the need to purchase feed or wormer. By utilizing the natural resources we have on the ranch and natural selection, the goats that have performed under our management have risen to the top. This has created an extremely low input system while improving the health of our land as well as the animals.
We make every effort to raise our goats to be goats.
After years of building our numbers, it won’t be long before we’re ready to share our herd genetics. Check out our Spanish Goat Sales page to see what we have available.
